Japanese months game
Japanese numbers its months rather than naming them: ichigatsu is month one, jūnigatsu is month twelve. Twenty entries in all, with the four seasons and the words for this month, next month and last month.

Five games take this set. Pop Quiz is the one to play, because the months are regular enough that the only real work is the three that read irregularly, and a quick game surfaces them fast.

Questions
Which months read irregularly?
Three. April is shigatsu rather than yongatsu, July is shichigatsu rather than nanagatsu, and September is kugatsu rather than kyūgatsu. Every other month uses the reading you would expect from the number.
If the months are numbered, do I need to learn twelve words?
Really just the three irregular ones, plus the pattern. Once you know the numbers set and that gatsu means month, the other nine build themselves, which makes this the fastest set in Japanese to finish.
