How is this different from Duolingo or Google Translate?
Duolingo teaches from a fixed curriculum; Google Translate gives you a word and moves on. Snavo builds your vocabulary from what's actually in your life. Every word you snap comes with pronunciation, an example sentence, and a mini-game built from your own captures, not a stranger's word list.
Will this actually help me learn?
Words tied to something you photographed yourself stick better than words on a flashcard. That's the whole idea. You're reviewing real vocabulary from your own life, not memorizing someone else's list.
Do I need any experience to learn a language?
None at all. Complete beginners are welcome. You learn one real object at a time, at your own pace.
Is it free during early access?
Yes. Early access members get full access at no cost while the program runs. We'll always tell you before anything changes.
Which phones can I use?
Both iPhone and Android. Pick your phone when you sign up: iPhone installs through TestFlight, and Android setup is instant at snavoapp.com/android (about 2 minutes, one-time).
How does the invite arrive?
By email, at the address you enter here. iPhone gets a TestFlight invite. On Android there's nothing to wait for: the email points you to snavoapp.com/android and you're testing minutes later.
