Korean telling time game

Eighteen entries, and this set is where both counting systems collide. The hour uses native numbers, han si and du si, while the minutes use Sino-Korean, sip bun and samsip bun. One clock, two systems, no way around it.

Five games take this set. Kraken Escape is the right one here, since it shows a time against an English meaning and asks whether it is right, and mixing up the two number systems is exactly the mistake worth catching.

Questions

Why do the hours and minutes use different numbers?

Because Korean assigns counters to one system or the other, and si, the hour counter, takes native numbers while bun, the minute counter, takes Sino-Korean. Two twenty is du si isip bun: native for the hour, Sino for the minutes.

Why is one o'clock han si and not hana si?

The first four native numbers shorten in front of a counter. Hana, dul, set and net become han, du, se and ne. Yeol dul, twelve, becomes yeoldu in the same way. It only affects those, so the rest of the native numbers behave.

What are ojeon and ohu?

Before noon and after noon, which is to say a.m. and p.m. They go in front of the time rather than after it. Jeongo, also in this set, is noon exactly, and jajeong is midnight.
