German colours game
Twelve colours plus four shades that show how German builds them: hellblau, dunkelblau, hellgrün, dunkelrot. Stick hell- or dunkel- on the front of any colour and you have a new word, written as one.

Questions
Why are hellblau and dunkelblau single words?
German compounds rather than spacing. Light blue is hell plus blau with nothing between them, and the same works for any colour in the set. It is the simplest example of the habit that also produces the long nouns German is known for.
Do German colours change with the noun?
Only in front of one. Das Auto ist rot leaves it alone; ein rotes Auto adds an ending. The games use the plain form, the one you would look up.
