Twelve colours, and every one of them ends in saek, the word for colour. Haneulsaek is sky colour for light blue and hoesaek is ash colour for grey, so several of these say where the shade came from.

Why does every colour end in saek?
Saek means colour, and Korean attaches it to the descriptive part: ppalgan plus saek gives red. The colour words can drop it in some grammar, but with saek attached is the form you meet first and the one this set teaches.
What is haneulsaek?
Sky colour, which is to say light blue. Korean builds it the way it builds hoesaek from ash, rather than by putting a word for light in front of blue. Paransaek is the ordinary blue.
