Fica or está
Onde fica asks where something permanently is: a street, a building, a city. Onde fica a estação?
Onde está asks where something is right now: your phone, your friend. Onde está o meu celular?
Using está for a building is understood but marks you as a learner straight away.
In Brazil você works for nearly everyone. Save o senhor and a senhora for someone notably older or a formal setting.
