French vocabulary games

Twelve French sets, from the run to un million down to the seventeen phrases that get you through a counter. Pick one and the games draw every round from it alone, so a session on les mois is twenty words about the calendar rather than a scatter.

Questions

Do I need to know any French first?

No. Every game shows the English and asks you to pick, judge or spell the French. Question words and days of the week are the two smallest sets, at eleven and thirteen words, so they are the gentlest way in.

Which set is the hardest?

Numbers, and not because it is the longest. French builds 70 and 90 by arithmetic, so soixante-dix and quatre-vingt-dix have to be drilled rather than remembered.
